The picture on the left is Walt Blasdells' Land Sailor. It is made from steel box beam and uses a 6 meter wind surf sail. The picture on the right is Ken "Smokey" Wilms taking someone for a ride in his new Twin Manta. Smokey and Walt spent the winter alternating between Ivanpaugh and El Mirage dry lakes. A nasty job but someone has to do it.
The picture on the left is my Manta powered with a 5 meter wind surf sail. I was on the verge of being overpowered a couple of times and sustained a slight mast bend. On the right is a view over the mast support of my Manta of Scott Dyer and passenger on one of Scotts Twin Mantas.
